Manipur Security Forces Arrest Militants, Seize Arms and Explosives in Multiple Operations
Security forces in Manipur conducted multiple operations across districts including Churachandpur, Ukhrul, Thoubal, and Imphal, arresting five militants linked to banned underground groups such as the Revolutionary People's Front People's Liberation Army (RPF PLA), National Revolutionary Front of Manipur (NRFM), and People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK). Authorities seized a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and communication devices, and destroyed illegal bunkers. The operations aimed to curb extortion, criminal activities, and insurgency in the region.
