NHAI Submits Draft Alignment for 31-Km Eight-Lane Expressway Linking Noida and Greater Noida
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has submitted a draft alignment report for a new 31-km, eight-lane elevated expressway connecting Noida's Sector 94 near the Delhi border to Greater Noida's Chi-I sector. This project aims to provide an alternative route to the congested Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, especially following the commencement of commercial operations at Noida International Airport. Authorities from multiple agencies have held coordination meetings to discuss alignment, connectivity, and land acquisition, with a detailed project report (DPR) expected soon. The expressway is planned along the Yamuna embankment and could be completed within two years.
