
The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet approved several initiatives including the establishment of a cancer care centre at Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College in Hamirpur and the construction of Asia's longest 4.3-km Naddi Zipline near Dharamsala. It also sanctioned four hydroelectric projects, a new ice skating rink in Shimla, and allowed Alliance Air to operate daily flights on Delhi-Shimla-Dharamsala routes. The cabinet adopted the National Policy on Geothermal Energy and approved amendments to social security pension rules and energy policies, alongside introducing a cess to fund welfare for orphans and widows.
