Punjab MLA Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi resigned as chairman of the Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation and relinquished his Cabinet rank amid controversy over 328 missing 'saroops' of the Guru Granth Sahib. His resignation followed Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's claim that 169 missing saroops were recovered from Rasokhana Shri Nabh Kanwal Raja Sahib Gurdwara in Banga, which the gurdwara management disputed.
