PM Modi Highlights India's Defence and Self-Reliance Achievements in June 2026
In his June 2026 'Mann Ki Baat' address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted key achievements in India's defence and self-reliance. He lauded the maiden flight of the indigenous C-295 military transport aircraft, with 40 units being manufactured domestically, boosting aerospace and MSME sectors. Modi also noted the successful test of the DRDO's Long-Range Land-Attack Cruise Missile and the induction of three indigenously designed naval ships—INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak, and INS Agray. Additionally, he referenced International Yoga Day celebrations and India's performance at the World Yoga Asana Championship.
