PM Modi Highlights India's Defence Milestones and Self-Reliance in Mann Ki Baat
In his June 28 'Mann Ki Baat' address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted key milestones in India's defence and self-reliance efforts. He lauded the maiden flight of the first made-in-India C-295 military transport aircraft, with 40 units being assembled domestically, boosting aerospace manufacturing and MSMEs. Modi also noted the successful test of an indigenous Long-Range Land-Attack Cruise Missile by DRDO and the induction of three indigenously designed naval ships—INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak, and INS Agray. Additionally, he referenced International Yoga Day celebrations and ongoing rural development initiatives, emphasizing India's progress in security, manufacturing, and cultural outreach.
