FBI Director Kash Patel announced increased personnel and resources deployed to Minnesota for a fraud probe into alleged misuse of public funds, primarily linked to the state's Somali community. The investigation, initiated in 2022 under the Biden administration, examines a $250 million scheme to defraud a federal child nutrition program. To date, 77 individuals have been charged, including Aimee Bock, identified as the mastermind and convicted in March. Patel suggested this is likely a small part of a larger issue.
