Uttarakhand has ranked first nationally in implementing the Inter-Operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) 2.0, achieving a score of 93.46 as per the National Crime Records Bureau data up to January 2026. This progress reflects leadership by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and guidance from Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The state’s success is attributed to continuous monitoring and the 'One Data, One Entry' system, enabling seamless data sharing across police, courts, prisons, prosecution, and forensics departments to support new laws like the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
