Vaishnavi Rathore of Scroll.in has been selected to receive the IPI-India Award for Excellence in Journalism. The award includes a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh, a trophy, and a citation. A jury of editors, led by retired Supreme Court judge Madan B Lokur, made the selection. This award, established in 2003, has been presented to 21 media organizations and journalists to date.
