Himachal CM Lays Foundation for Drinking Water Scheme and Announces Development Initiatives

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu laid the foundation stone for the Turkal Panga drinking water scheme in Una district, costing Rs. 14.92 crore and benefiting over 10,000 residents. He announced new DSP and sub-judge offices in Bangana, Primary Health Centres in Rainsari and Lathiani, and grants for Mahila Mandals. Sukhu emphasized the state's commitment to clean water, with Rs. 2,000 crore planned for purification technology next year, and contrasted Himachal's financial condition with Punjab's challenges.
