Visakhapatnam MP Mathukumilli Sribharat announced plans to develop Kailasagiri into a global tourist destination, emphasizing enhanced safety standards and a 30-year master development plan. The Kailasagiri Development Committee conducted its first inspection, reviewing on-ground conditions and discussing infrastructure improvements like new roads, alternative access, and expanded parking. A 55-foot Trishul statue, costing ₹1.5 crore, will also be constructed to boost the site's spiritual and cultural appeal.
