The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has approved the creation of a dedicated teaching sub-cadre for 100 CBSE schools. Additionally, the cabinet decided to include children with one deceased parent and abandonment by the other under the Sukh Ashray Yojna. A project proposal for resilient livelihoods, focusing on sustainable small ruminant farming and empowering shepherds, was also approved to strengthen the rural economy and preserve high-altitude ecosystems.
