
Jammu and Kashmir has completed 323,299 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), achieving 97% of its target. Officials, led by Rural Development Secretary Mohammad Aijaz Asad, have urged the completion of the remaining 11,340 houses by April 15 before the new phase begins. Authorities are addressing technical and administrative challenges, conducting block-wise reviews, and ensuring no eligible households are missed in the upcoming phase.
