
Sikkim Chief Secretary R Telang reviewed the progress of the Sevok-Rangpo railway line construction, expected to be completed by the end of next year. The 45 km project, costing over Rs 10,000 crore, aims to enhance connectivity. The review emphasized coordination between state departments and railway authorities, focusing on security, transport integration, and administrative readiness. Officials from Northeast Frontier Railway and IRCON also participated in the meeting.
