India's maritime security has been enhanced with the induction of Anjadip, its third Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft. Built with approximately 80 percent domestic components, the vessel is designed for detecting and countering hostile submarines in shallow waters. It features specialized sonar systems, lightweight torpedoes, and indigenous anti-submarine rockets, bolstering India's underwater surveillance and coastal defense capabilities as part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
