Madhya Pradesh is establishing a State Cancer Registry Board to track patients early and improve diagnosis and treatment. Currently, data is collected under the National Cancer Registry Programme managed from Bangalore. The new board aims to provide more current and comprehensive state-specific data. Reports indicate rising trends in mouth, larynx, and prostate cancers among males, and breast, ovary, mouth, and gall bladder cancers among females.
