
A year after the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) was formed, only three of the mandated 12 meetings have been held, with residents citing unresolved civic issues like broken roads and waterlogging. In contrast, the Municipal Corporation Manesar (MCM) recently approved 51 proposals and passed a ₹678 crore budget focused on infrastructure, sanitation, and community development. While MCG faces criticism for limited activity, MCM is advancing multiple civic projects and seeking government support for unauthorised colony regularisation.
