A confrontation at a groundnut procurement center in Junagadh, Gujarat, led to accusations of casteist abuse and assault against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including district president Haresh Savaliya. AAP MLA Gopal Italia arrived at the police station with supporters, where a heated exchange occurred with a female police officer. Police stated the AAP members argued with workers, assaulted one, harassed his wife, and used casteist slurs. Italia, however, claimed a false complaint was lodged and garlanded the accused.
