The State government has approved the de-notification of 1501.88 hectares of forest land in Bacharam Reserve Forest for the relocation of five villages from the core area of Amrabad Tiger Reserve. The villages, including Kollam Penta and Sarlapally, will be resettled in Nagarkurnool district. This decision aims to facilitate the relocation of these communities.
