The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has reprimanded the Noida Authority for alleged repeated violations of pollution norms, directing strict implementation. The tribunal noted that despite past compensation orders totaling Rs 27 crore, only Rs 1 crore has been recovered. A petition claims multiple agencies, including the Noida Authority, have caused severe dust pollution and damage through non-compliant road and cable work. The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board also stated the Noida Authority violates norms daily.
