
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced several police reforms in the 2026-27 budget, including procuring 5,000 body-worn cameras over three years for road-deployed personnel and jail wardens. Seven women's police stations and three cybercrime stations will be established, alongside two Anti-Terrorist Squad units with women commandos. The budget also includes a 20% quota for Agniveers in police recruitment, out-of-turn promotions for bravery, and new district jails with modern security measures.
