
The Maharashtra Cabinet approved several key proposals, including a revised Rs 8,087.11 crore financial plan for the Mumbai Urban Transport Project Phase-2 to enhance suburban rail infrastructure. It extended the concessional Rs 250 toll on the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu bridge until December 31, 2026, with exemptions for electric vehicles. Other approvals include waiving land premium for a temple in Navi Mumbai, staffing changes, a multi-modal agri-export hub in Thane, and an irrigation project in Yavatmal.
