The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has commenced a three-day mandatory training program for 4,205 poll staff ahead of the 2025 PMC General Elections. The training, held from December 29-31, covers roles, legal provisions, and Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) handling to ensure free, fair, and transparent polls across 20 wards and 660 polling stations. Officials aim to prevent errors and malpractices, with strict action threatened against absentees.
