
A submarine attack on the Iranian naval ship IRIS Dena off Sri Lanka's southern coast has left at least 101 people missing and 78 injured, according to Sri Lankan navy and defence sources. Rescue operations have saved around 30 to 79 crew members, with some admitted to hospital, including one reported death. The vessel reportedly sank after sending a distress call near Galle. Authorities have not confirmed the attacker’s identity, and Iran, the US, and Israel have not commented on the incident.
