The Telangana High Court has ordered the removal of illegal construction on 2.11 acres of land designated for a government school playground in Kamareddy district. The ruling came after villagers filed a Public Interest Litigation alleging encroachment by a husband-wife duo. The court emphasized that a playground is an indispensable component of a school's educational ecosystem, crucial for student development. Revenue records confirmed the land's ownership by the school, with no valid permissions found for the construction.
