
Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara highlighted the state's efforts to strengthen cybersecurity during the third CIDECODE Cybercrime Investigation Summit in Bengaluru. The government has established 43 specialised Cyber Economic and Narcotics police stations and cybercrime units equipped with advanced skills and technology. Collaborations with private companies and international organisations support innovation in areas like artificial intelligence and cloud computing. The Cyber Crime Investigation Training and Research Centre has trained over 62,000 personnel to address evolving cyber threats such as dark web activities and financial fraud.
