Haryana CM Releases Rs 68.34 Crore Grant for 602 Registered Gaushalas Statewide

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini released a Rs 68.34 crore fodder grant for 602 registered gaushalas statewide, aiming to support cow shelters financially and promote cow protection. Since 2014, the number of registered gaushalas increased from 215 to 697, with total grants exceeding Rs 525 crore over 11 years. Initiatives include solar power installations at 330 gaushalas, subsidised electricity, veterinary services, and e-rickshaws to boost income, alongside two established cow sanctuaries.
