The SEC has requested reports from authorities to verify allegations of intimidatory tactics used to prevent opposition candidates from filing nominations or withdrawing. Several candidates from parties like AAP and Congress have reported bias from election machinery, with one AAP candidate alleging she was prevented from filing her nomination. The SEC will not declare winners in nine affected wards until reports are submitted.
