Vijay cited the incident as evidence of the administration's failure to protect youth, curb drug abuse, and address unemployment and lack of opportunities. Police stated the accused were juveniles and are proceeding under the Juvenile Justice Act, asserting that law and order remain under control with adequate safety measures for migrant workers.
