Telangana's tourism sector attracted ₹22,324 crore in investment commitments in 2025, potentially creating 90,000 jobs, according to Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao. This growth is attributed to the Telangana Tourism Policy 2025-2030, with significant investments from projects finalized during the Tourism Conclave and the Telangana Rising Global Summit. The Minister highlighted the Miss World 2025 pageant and cultural events like Bathukamma festival as key drivers for global visibility and branding. A dedicated Tourist Police force was also launched to enhance visitor safety.
