Kerala Government Raises Upper Age Limit for PSC Applications by Four Years

The Kerala government has raised the upper age limit for Public Service Commission (PSC) applications by four years, increasing it from 36 to 40 for general category candidates. Age limits for Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) have also been raised proportionally. This decision, made at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, aims to benefit unemployed youth amid ongoing protests and ahead of upcoming State Assembly elections.
