The Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have agreed to a seat-sharing deal for the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) polls. Shiv Sena will contest 68 seats, and MNS will contest 54. MNS leader Raju Patil criticized the BJP-Shinde alliance, calling it superficial, and accused turncoats of being left empty-handed by other parties. The nomination process is set to begin, with MNS predicting a victory.
