Ahead of the December 30 deadline for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, 401 nomination papers have been filed. On Monday, 357 nominations were submitted, with K-west and P-North wards receiving the highest number. The BMC has distributed over 11,500 nomination forms since the poll schedule was declared on December 23. Elections for the 227 seats are scheduled for January 15, with vote counting on January 16.
