The Karnataka High Court has extended interim relief until March 9 for actor Ranveer Singh, directing police not to take coercive action in a case alleging he hurt religious sentiments by mimicking a sacred daiva tradition at a 2023 Goa event. The complaint, filed by an advocate, claims Singh called the deity a 'ghost' during the imitation. Singh's counsel cited travel difficulties for his absence at a recent hearing, while the state government is preparing objections to the petition.
