A court in Hassan district has discharged senior JDS MLA HD Revanna from a sexual harassment case registered in 2024. The court cited a delay in lodging the complaint as a reason for declining to take cognizance of the offense. This case emerged in connection with multiple sexual abuse allegations against his son, Prajwal Revanna, who has already been convicted in one case. The Karnataka High Court had previously referred the delay condonation issue to the trial court.
