Massive protests have entered their fourth day across major Iranian cities, including Tehran, Shiraz, and Isfahan. Demonstrators are chanting anti-government slogans, clashing with security forces, and calling for the departure of clerical leadership. The protests, the largest since 2022, were triggered by a deepening economic crisis, a record low currency value against the US dollar, and the resignation of the central bank chief. Businesses and universities in 21 provinces have closed, with authorities declaring a public holiday.
