Father of Former Nepal PM KP Sharma Oli Passes Away at 97

Mohan Prasad Oli, father of former Nepal Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, passed away at 97 after a prolonged illness at Nepal-Korea Friendship Hospital in Bhaktapur. He had been receiving treatment following health complications and had not returned to Jhapa since his house was set on fire during September's Gen Z protests. KP Sharma Oli cremated his father at Pashupati Aryaghat in Kathmandu, with various political leaders attending to pay respects.
