Lashkar-e-Taiba Commander Confirms Damage to Muridke Base in Operation Sindoor

Senior Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Hafiz Abdul Rauf acknowledged that India's Operation Sindoor severely damaged the group's Muridke base, describing the site as demolished during the May 6-7, 2025 strike. He called the attack major and noted it left the Pakistani government surprised. Operation Sindoor followed the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 civilians. Rauf also claimed Pakistan allowed jihadist activities, reinforcing India's allegations of state support for militants. India maintains the operation is ongoing.
