Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi Visits India for Strategic Dialogue

Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi is visiting India from January 15 to 17 for strategic talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. The visit follows recent meetings between Indian and Japanese leaders reaffirming their Special Strategic and Global Partnership focused on security, trade, technology, and regional stability in the Indo-Pacific. Discussions will cover defence, investment, AI, critical minerals, and infrastructure, reflecting ongoing efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation amid global geopolitical shifts.
