Gujarat's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered an FIR against former Surendranagar District Collector Rajendrakumar Patel and three others, including deputy mamlatdar Chandrasinh Mori, based on a complaint from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED had previously arrested Mori after recovering ₹67.5 lakh cash from his residence, alleging it was bribe money collected for expediting land-use applications. The investigation into alleged money laundering and corruption in the collector's office is ongoing.
