
A BJP leader in Pune, Ujwala Sharma Goud, has accused her party of selling election tickets for over ₹2 crore for the Pune Municipal Corporation polls. After being denied a ticket, she filed as an independent and vowed to oppose BJP candidates. Goud plans to meet with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to disclose details. Another BJP leader, Amol Balwadkar, who was also denied a ticket, joined the NCP, citing injustice and dictatorship within the BJP.
