A case has been registered in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, after a Buddhist speaker, Archana Singh Boudh, allegedly used derogatory language towards Hindu deities during a religious event. Videos circulating online show Boudh making comments about figures like Maa Durga, Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, and Goddess Kali, which have been described as offensive and mocking by some attendees and community members. Following a complaint, police have detained Boudh and initiated action.
