Andhra Pradesh Approves AP FIRST Research Centre Project in Tirupati

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved the establishment of AP FIRST, the state's largest research centre, in Tirupati. The centre will integrate higher-education and research institutions, including IIT and IISER Tirupati, focusing on sectors like aerospace, defence, AI, cybersecurity, semiconductors, quantum technology, healthcare, biotechnology, green energy, and rural technologies. The initiative aims to prepare youth for future industry demands by enhancing skills and fostering innovation. The government also reviewed drone technology expansion and green ammonia projects, emphasizing collaboration with the central government and industry stakeholders.
