UP CM Highlights Healthcare Sector Growth and Expanded Coverage in State

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the state's status as the largest consumer market in healthcare during the UP Health Tech Conclave. He noted significant improvements since 2014, including an increase from 40 to 81 medical colleges, establishment of two AIIMS, and over 100 government district hospitals. The state has expanded primary and community health centers and issued 5.5 crore Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards, enhancing health coverage. These developments have contributed to reduced mortality rates and improved institutional deliveries.
