On February 26-27, members of the Hindu Raksha Dal spray-painted anti-Muslim slogans on the Delhi-Dehradun highway, declaring the road was not for Muslims. The group publicly admitted and defended the act in media interviews, with leaders claiming Muslims are 'tenants' in India and criticizing their tax contributions. Despite widespread circulation of videos and public admissions, police have yet to make arrests, citing ongoing investigations and other priorities. The graffiti has since been removed.
