Nampally Railway Station Redevelopment to Include Skywalk and Modern Amenities by 2027

The Nampally railway station in Hyderabad is undergoing a ₹327.27 crore redevelopment, featuring a 200-metre skywalk connecting it to the Metro station with escalators and travelators for seamless passenger movement. The project includes 16 lifts, eight escalators, segregated passenger flows, and a central hall with eateries and amenities. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, the redevelopment aims to modernize the station with Wi-Fi, CCTV, and enhanced safety. Telangana's railway infrastructure is receiving over ₹5,450 crore in budget allocations, with projects worth nearly ₹48,000 crore underway.
