Calls for CBI Probe into Alleged Sabarimala Temple Gold Theft Amid SIT Investigation

Various Hindu organizations, including the Sabarimala Karma Samithi and Akhila Kerala Tantri Pracharak Sabha, have demanded a CBI investigation into the alleged theft of gold from the Sabarimala temple, citing concerns over the effectiveness of the ongoing Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe. Protesters allege involvement of temple authorities and the state government, while the SIT has submitted an interim report on scientific tests regarding the missing gold. The Kerala High Court is currently hearing related petitions.
