
The Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi (KMDK) has finalized a seat-sharing agreement with the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, contesting two seats under the DMK's 'Rising Sun' symbol. The agreement was signed by DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and KMDK general secretary E.R. Eswaran at the DMK headquarters. In the 2021 elections, KMDK contested three seats on the DMK symbol, winning one seat from Tiruchengode. Other allies like Congress and MDMK have also secured seats in the alliance.
