Exiled Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen has commented on the death of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, recalling Zia's role in banning her books and issuing an arrest warrant. Nasreen, who has lived in exile for 31 years, questioned whether Zia's death would lead to the lifting of bans on her works, including 'Lajja'. She accused Zia of siding with fundamentalist groups and suppressing freedom of expression during her rule, preventing Nasreen's return to Bangladesh.
