Punjab Government Clears Rasokhana Committee in Missing 'Saroops' Case, Probe Continues

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema, along with other officials, visited the Rasokhana Shri Nabh Kanwal Raja Sahib gurdwara in Nawanshahr and stated that the records of the 328 missing 'saroops' of the Guru Granth Sahib were found to be correct, giving a clean chit to the management committee. While Chief Minister Mann had earlier reported discrepancies regarding 169 recovered 'saroops,' the government clarified no case exists against the committee. The probe into the missing 'saroops' continues amid political reactions, including the resignation announcement by Banga MLA Sukhwinder Sukhi.
